WVLP ValpoRadio had approached my friend Kathy Sipple asking her to do a one-hour segment during the station’s Community Radiothon going on November 1st though 7th. The objective? I finally made it to a 500 Turkeys meeting tonight after missing all the others. It was interesting to jump right into the middle of things. There are already many individuals, organizations, and businesses collaborating to collect food for the Thanksgiving menu. There are others who are donating time and resources. Tonight a good handful of us had a gathering of awesome at El Salto in Chesterton. Some of the fabulous people in attendance included @saan1911, @FoodieMamaNWI, @swedishpancake, @digitalbart, @TV_MA, @2ndwifeanne and other @grossbauer peeps. We arrived at 4:30 on a Thursday.
