Happy birthday to me – Day 54

It’s late, but I wanted to say how much I enjoyed my birthday today. I got a wonderful card from my parents, a text from my sister and a birthday song from my brother (created with his newish sampler). Donna gave me a book she loves. Mary gave me dinner, chocolate and a Kohls card. Rahsaan gave me a book and a gift card to my favorite cheese store. Rich gave me some smiles (he’s always good for some of those). A million people on Twitter gave me a birthday shout, in 140 characters or less.
I gave myself an angel food cake, homemade pudding and time to play video games.
Today was such a perfect day, so beautiful and sunny and just overall… gorgeous. It makes me happy to be alive and to be surrounded by family and friends who love me. You all rock.
Time for bed. Saturday awaits.
