A rundown since the 19th – Day 197
August 24th, 2010
Haven’t been blogging much because I’ve been living life as much as I can, though I will admit my lack of blogging has been touched with a smidgen of laziness. Here is a quick rundown of what I’ve been doing, if anyone really cares.
Had a wonderful night to eat, drink and be merry with friends and former coworkers. We were and always will be one happy family despite sometimes poor job circumstances. Love you guys.
Finished the copy for Pieces #4: On Lucid Dreaming. This is a whopper, at least compared to my other zines, weighing in at over 10,000 words but I think it to be an engaging and informative read. I hope to start the layout in the next day or two.
Had a picnic, cookout thing on Sunday with Rich at his church. People keep asking me if I’ve become a Christian. No. Do I have to be to drop in once in awhile on a religious service and eat food with good friends? I guess that’s a post for another day. Rahsaan was even there, and we had good conversation with Rich, his wife and other random folks over hot dogs and brownies. BROWNIES!
Got a small web project that I will be meeting about tomorrow with Lisa. Designing and coding on the side is fun, especially when it nets me some extra cash for fun things and therapy bills.
Am going to be helping out with 500 Turkeys this season to collect food for 500 families in Northwest Indiana.
Been reading a lot of psychology books, especially by authors / psychologists that stemmed from and elaborate on Jung’s theories. Interesting stuff.
Still lucid dreaming. Still keeping a paper journal. Still learning about myself.
That’s really all for now. Hopefully the next blog post will be more substantial. Then again, fluff on occasion is never a bad thing.
