My sweet new home.
July 18th, 2009
Hello! I’m Nichole who brought forth to the masses the blog Lonely Lesbian. That particular blog had a good run and well-served its purpose in being a place to vent, cope and heal from a pretty traumatic parting.
Since Lonely Lesbian’s closing in May, I’ve been wanting to start up something new, something fresh that reflects who I am as a person. Not only am I a writer, but I am a designer, something many people on the web don’t really get to know about me. I’m just that girl who writes. That’s because during the past couple years my designing skills have been manifesting only within the walls of my employer’s building. But then a few weeks ago I realized, I NEED TO DO STUFF ON MY OWN TOO!
So now, I bring you JINKED: a place of sheer and utter randomness where I will easily jerk and… well, jink from idea to idea to idea.
This is my first wordpress layout, designed and built by me. The PHP still looks a little strange, but I’m getting there in understanding. Since this is a soft launch, now is the time to fix bugs and make tweaks. If anyone finds anything that needs addressing please leave a comment stressing what the problem is and what browser you are using.
Watch out for more Nichole creations in the very near future… especially since I am working to revive illvision.net.

I love the site. Can’t wait to read the upcoming blogs and such.
Hey! Excellent-looking site! Have you thought about releasing this theme, or others you may create?
No snags so far!
Pretty blog you have here! I love the color scheme. I haven’t run across any bugs. Although I’m enough of a photo geek that the shadow in your photo makes me cringe. Perhaps find a brighter blank wall so you don’t have to use the flash? The integration with your twitter feed is quite awesome though!
@Rahsaan – Thanks dude! More wordpress layouts to come, I’m sure. I can help you code one of your own when you get space!
@Anne – It’s not available at this time, mainly because there are a lot of custom elements that a person needs to either change by hand (like the footer) and the Twitter element. Other than that, maybe soonish it can be released for public consumption!
@Laterose – I fixed the photo. What do you think of it now?
So far, I like it!
love to see you back in action! :) xx
Tis awesome, Nichole! :D I really like the twitter part!
