Jinked

I’ve always enjoyed this song, starting when I first heard it in all its 16-bit glory back in ’95. I saw it performed live once when my sister, a friend and I all attended a PLAY! concert years back. There is just something behind it, some semblance of hope and spirit in the face of adversity that makes my heart warm. This remix of “Frog’s Theme” has been one of my favorites for a few years now since the release of Chrono Symphonic, especially the part at 2:35. The strings, the faux french horn, the cymbal crashes and snare… it all rings as hope inside me.

It’s a silly thing to think of a video game character, but if Frog can do it, so can I. So can I.
