Coding – Day 27

March 6th, 2010

The bulk of today was spent coding. It’s nice to have freelance, because it means more money, which in turn means that I can write that much longer without having to look for another job. Besides, I love coding. It’s like a huge puzzle, and puzzles make me happy.

I woke up this morning with the need to write. Sometimes when I dream I’m prompted and pushed into remembering things, and I have to get it down on paper before I forget. Flashes of memory.

On a somewhat related note, I really digging Scrivener for my writing. If you have a Mac and a writing project or two, you should give Scrivener a try. It’s simplistic, but it’s also very powerful. Go Scrivener go!

I’m looking forward to tomorrow. Sunday is my day to relax and do whatever I want. I’m ready.

Feedback is love.

  1. Writer Comment

A need to write? That sounds hopeful! *hugs* Sorry I missed you last night. I was pretty much passed out in bed and just got up a few minutes ago. I wasted all of Saturday…..*sighs*

  2. I love Scrivener. It really puts all the things I need in an easily organized place, and I love the little notecard views.

    • I like that note card feature too! I write in the full screen mode. I find it very peaceful for some reason. It’s not obtrusive like looking at a Word document.
