That pretty much sums up my day right there. I took part of the day off to go to the Chesterton farmers market, and then after meeting some of my friends up there, we went to eat Indian food at Taj. Greg owed me. I don’t mind being paid in food for the little things I help out with. Food is one of the greatest things on earth. Why not be paid in it!

And Indian food is the equivalent of silver to me. Almost gold but not quite. I think Thai food gets that prestige. Still, not many things beat the tastiness of Chicken Tiki Masala.

There was a tweetup today at the Albanese Candy Factory as well, so I shot over there after stuffing Indian food down my throat. After we all realized hanging in a candy store was lame (save for the fact I got some dark chocolate covered cashews!) we moved to Zao island. Being a Saturday it was overrun with children, so I took off rather early. It’s not that I don’t like kids; I just don’t enjoy the screaming, running, messy company of a hundred of them. (I kid you not. There were multiple birthday parties going on. Children were everywhere.)

Came home and read some zines, then worked on my wordpress theme. I’m wanting to start a zine blog, giving myself a place to talk about the zines I get. I think it would be pretty cool, even if I’m the only one who reads it. Fantastic way of cataloging my growing collection, for sure.

I’m not very… insightful today, or lately for that matter. Oh well. I still had a good time today, hanging with friends and eating food, chocolate and other sweets. Pity I didn’t get to see many of my tweetup friends. There’s always next month though.
