Jinked

Last season I was a chump and avoided baseball games like the plague. This season I’m trying not to be as lame by going out to support my friends’ baseball team.

It was a beautiful day for a game.  Sunny, warm but a little windy, so I brought a blanket. I got a little sunburned on my face but that’s okay. It means I got my Vitamin D. BOOYAKA! Rahsaan, Michelle and I cheered Greg and Brian on to an almost victory, standing every-so-often in the stands when our butts hurt too much. The team played a great defense. I was amazed by Greg’s ball catching skills. Just have to work on the hitting.

The shin guards catchers have to wear are mad sexy, but I think that’s because they look like greaves. More people should wear them on an everyday basis, maybe gauntlets too. Why do I find bits of armor sexy? Full plate is a no go, but all the bits and pieces are very nice to look at.

Continued to battle the comments styling in my WP theme today. I finally got them to behave, though I didn’t have a chance yet to test in IE. I’m scared to. IE always finds some way to screw me over and laugh about it.

I’m conditioning myself to lucid dream again. So fun.
