Yesterday was draining and I didn’t feel like doing much today, but I pressed on anyhow. I’m seeing the world differently. Everything looks brighter. There is the coming of some freelance work, so that eases my mind while giving me the chance to freshen my design and code. I can’t wait until Thursday. I have yoga.
There’s this coffee house cafe called Uptown that I’ve taken a shining to. On Tuesdays they have $2 french presses of tea. It’s enough to make me happy. Writing in different locations always inspires me more than just sitting at home. Plus I get to sip on different teas. Woodsy teas. Oolong teas. Jasmine pearls.
I’m planning to go with Rahsaan on Thursday to Chicago to look at some colleges with him. He wants to go back to school. I see it as an adventure, an opportunity to collect insights and perspectives on some of my characters.
Fun days ahead. I will post some writing soon.
